About the LRA

The Leaside Residents Association (LRA) is a membership-based, not-for-profit organization that represents the residents of the neighbourhood of Leaside in the city of Toronto, Canada. We aim to enhance the livability of Leaside through advocacy and community-building.

The LRA is governed by a constitution and bylaws and is operated by a volunteer board of directors who are elected annually by and from its members. If you have an issue that concerns you, please contact the board or attend one of its monthly meetings to speak about the issue.

The LRA was founded in 1947 as the Leaside Property-Owners’ Association (LPOA). At the 2019 Annual Meeting, LPOA members voted unanimously to extend membership to all residents of Leaside and to rename the organization accordingly.
