For the last 14 years, I have watched and assisted my mother, Councillor Jaye Robinson, with numerous ward-related activities and initiatives. In addition, I have worked with the Uptown Yonge BIA and community clean-up days in the ward. Finally, I have volunteered countless hours with organizations such as Out of the Cold, Salvation Army, Sheena’s Place, and Claremont Retirement Home.
4) Do you have any relationships with developers or labour unions who may have potential conflicts of interest with the City?
No.
Qualifications Questions
1) Why do you want to be the City Councillor for Don Valley West?
I want to be the City Councillor for Don Valley West to continue the legacy of my mother, Jaye Robinson. Over the last 14 years, I witnessed her deep commitment to this community, from improving road safety to preserving parks and supporting local businesses, all with a focus on fiscal responsibility. I was involved in all of her campaigns and saw firsthand how she worked with residents to address key issues. I believe I’m the only candidate who can carry forward her work and ensure her vision for a stronger, safer, and more connected community continues. With your support, I will be a strong, independent voice, just as she was, as I have always aspired to be.
2) What experience and accomplishments do you bring that you think will make you a good representative for Ward 15?
With 14 years of experience assisting Councillor Jaye Robinson with her initiatives, I’ve learned how to tackle key local issues like road safety and park preservation. I have lived in the ward all my life and my deep connection to Ward 15 makes me ready to continue her legacy as a strong, independent voice for the community. In addition to this, I have received a political studies degree (with Honours) from Queen’s University. I also received a post-graduate certificate in Marketing Management from Humber College.
3) What are the key 3-5 issues you see facing Ward 15 and the City?
Strengthen Our Vibrant Neighbourhoods:
- Engage residents, local organizations & local business
- Fight for community-based planning.
- Enhance parks, green space and the tree canopy.
- Foster arts, culture, local business & BIAs
- Stand up for tenant rights & better building standards
Get Toronto Moving for all Road Users
- Support increased TTC service and funding
- Prevent developers from occupying curb lanes during construction
- Increase the use of red-light cameras to prevent blocked intersections
- Ensure a comprehensive data-driven traffic plan supports decisions
Improve Community Safety
- Organize working groups & townhall meetings with police & the community
- Encourage and support local Neighbourhood Watch groups
- Increase photo radar speed enforcement in community safety zones
- Reduce local street traffic infiltration
Restore Toronto’s Fiscal Stability
- Control taxes by finding efficiencies and ensuring every dollar is spent wisely

With a steadfast commitment to transparency and community consultation, my first priority will be extensive community engagement and discussion. I want to ensure the voices of Ward 15 residents are heard and shape decisions. By actively listening to the community and prioritizing their needs together we can create a more inclusive, safe and liveable city.
