Leaside’s first-ever the street festival, takes place Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1, 2024, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at and around 25 Commercial Road, hosted by the Motorista Creative Society in collaboration with the Leaside Heritage Preservation Society

Celebrate Leaside’s rich heritage and lively community. Enjoy live music, experience captivating local art, and savour delicious food from local vendors. You’ll also have the chance to view exhibits on Leaside’s industrial past.

The event will be held at the Amsterdam Brewhouse (45 Esandar Drive) from 5 to 8 p.m. As there are capacity limits, please sign up via the link below to let us know you are interested in joining us. March 2023 Community Consultation Meetings

There are 3 important community consultation meetings (so far) this month – all virtual. They include 1779-1787 Bayview (35 storey LRT station building), 589-595 Eglinton Ave. E (35 storeys), 2-20 Glazebrook (34 storeys) and 1840 Bayview (34 storeys). Registration is required to attend.

If you have views on these proposals, please attend the meeting(s) below and express yourself. The LRA believes that a framework plan for these developments is urgently needed.
