Garden Suites

Garden-Suites

The City is proposing zoning amendments for as-of-right garden suites – i.e. a secondary dwelling unit, typically detached, on an existing residential property. Read more about the Garden Suites initiative 

The City of Toronto is running a Garden + Suites survey, to gather public and industry opinion about Garden Suites in Toronto. The survey is open until June 1, 2021.

Neighbourhood Watch

The LRA is gauging interest in a possible Neighbourhood Watch program for Leaside. The aim would be to share information within the community and with police about serious crime and safety matters.

Arts & Crafts for Thorncliffe and Flemingdon

Arts and crafts - Thorncliffe Park

Three local groups – Parenting Group, Friends of Thorncliffe Park, and Thorncliffe Park Autism Support Network – are collecting donations of $15 to provide free arts and crafts kits and programming to 100 children in Thorncliffe and Flemingdon.
