The City of Toronto hosted a consultation on 1446-1500 Bayview (Valumart site) on Thursday, May 13, 7 to 9 p.m. The presentation (PDF) is available for download from the developer’s website. You can give feedback to the developer directly.
The City is hosting a consultation on 1710-1736 Bayview (between Soudan and Eglinton). Wednesday, June 2 (formerly May 18), 7 to 9 p.m. Register online.
The City has published details of the application to redevelop 70-80 Wicksteed (Lake Leaside site) and nearby properties. The application proposes the relocation of Canadian Tire, which currently occupies a site slated for development by RioCan.

The City of Toronto is running a Garden + Suites survey, to gather public and industry opinion about Garden Suites in Toronto. The survey is open until June 1, 2021.
The LRA is gauging interest in a possible Neighbourhood Watch program for Leaside. The aim would be to share information within the community and with police about serious crime and safety matters.

Three local groups – Parenting Group, Friends of Thorncliffe Park, and Thorncliffe Park Autism Support Network – are collecting donations of $15 to provide free arts and crafts kits and programming to 100 children in Thorncliffe and Flemingdon.
